Julaluck “Yeepun” Pairoadsupasin
1973 – October 21, 2016
Yeepun loved animals and spent her time and money helping them whenever she could. She rescued hundreds, mostly homeless dogs and cats, but also birds, squirrels, turtles, snakes and fish. She was a vegetarian. She left this world far too soon.
In her words
Before she died, we talked about this site. This is what she wanted it to say.
I'm Julaluck, or you can call me by my nickname, Yeepun. I love all animals and it pains me deeply to see them suffer. I am no longer on this earth, but I still care deeply for animals and want the best for them.
I am from Thailand and enjoyed my time here on earth. My wish is that the cats I rescued live out the rest of their lives happy and healthy, and that my parents and family are not overburdened by caring for them.
What happened next
When Yeepun died, the animals she had taken in over the years went to her mother and sisters. Her family built kennels on land in Chiang Rai and moved the cats there. Ten years on, they still feed them, take them to the vet, and find room for the new ones that keep arriving.
I made this site to share the stories of the animals we helped while she was here, and to make sure her family isn't carrying the cost alone. If you knew her, you know she would have wanted every baht to go to the cats. Here is how to help.
