Snow

He fell from under a moving car on a Bangkok bridge. Two months in the clinic and a maxed-out credit card later, he was fine.

On December 14, 2015, Yeepun’s sister Mee was driving to work in Bangkok. As she crossed a bridge she saw a small object drop from under the car in front of her. She didn’t know what it was, but she slowed down, and as she passed she saw it was a kitten. She stopped, put the car in reverse, got out and caught him before he could run. He bit her. She didn’t let go.

Mee drove straight to the veterinary clinic. His leg was badly injured from the fall. She named him Snow.

On top of the leg, Snow turned out to have feline distemper. He fought to survive while Mee visited him every day. He stayed in the clinic for over two months.

Even after he came home, his leg was still healing. The bandages had to be changed and the leg cleaned, and there were follow-up visits for weeks. The bills were very high. Mee maxed out her credit cards to pay them.

It was worth it. Snow made a full recovery. He is a friendly cat who gets along with everyone, loves to play, and is very clever. We hope to build a larger play area so he has room to run and get the exercise he needs.
